Hello, I’m Eric Brown. I am a university professor with a Ph.D. in Philosophy from Boston College and many years of experience teaching, tutoring, and mentoring students in academic writing, philosophy, political science, ethics, critical thinking, and research methods.
I help students develop clearer essays, stronger arguments, better thesis statements, and more confident academic writing. My approach is patient and supportive, but also intellectually serious: I do not simply correct grammar or rewrite texts. I help students understand their ideas, organize them clearly, use evidence effectively, and revise their work into stronger final form.
