Recently, one of our registered experts received a suspicious inquiry through the Tutora platform. Fortunately, they handled the situation in a conscious and professional manner: they requested official payment via Stripe, a signed contract, a GDPR policy, and pricing commensurate with the service.

What happened next? As soon as the applicant realized that the process was completely official—involving advance payment via Stripe and a formal contract—they vanished without a trace and stopped responding.

Tutora can only guarantee full protection for transactions conducted within the platform and through Stripe’s official payment system. When payment goes through Stripe, the fee is guaranteed and fully traceable. Never start actual work or hand over materials before payment is confirmed!

B) Set Up Available Booking Slots and a Free Trial Call!

The easiest way to verify the authenticity of an interested client is a short personal or online consultation:

• Upload your available booking slots on your Tutora profile so clients can immediately book and pay for the service.

• Set up a free trial call / trial session! This is a brief 15–20 minute no-obligation conversation where you can align before starting work together. Scammers almost without exception back out from live video or telephone calls.

C) Request Contract Templates and Official Documentation!

For larger projects or custom services, always document the terms in writing with full GDPR compliance. Official frameworks quickly filter out bad-faith clients.
