Setting up Stripe Connect

To receive payouts, you must activate a Stripe Connect account in My Account → Billing. Stripe collects your details (personal info, IBAN, tax ID) via a secure embedded form.

Supported Currencies & Countries

Tutora is an EU-based platform, so Stripe can only pay out in: EUR, GBP, HUF, CHF, DKK, NOK, SEK.

Tip: If your country isn't supported (e.g. Turkey), open a EUR or GBP IBAN with Wise or Revolut — this is fully legal and accepted by Stripe.

Required Fields

Your billing profile must include:

• Legal name or company name
• Address / registered office
• Tax ID (if applicable)
• IBAN

Without these you cannot publish services.

Taxes

Tutora is not liable for declaring the income you receive. As a Hungarian expert, NAV reporting and invoicing (e.g. Számlázz.hu, Billingo) are your responsibility. Integrations can be configured in your account.

Fees & Payouts at a Glance

• Commission per lesson: Free 15% / Pro 7% / Premium 7%, deducted automatically at checkout.
• 24-hour internal hold: After class completion, earnings are held for 24 hours inside Tutora before being marked as cleared.
• Stripe payout to your bank: Once cleared, Stripe pays out on its automatic schedule — typically T+2 to T+7 business days.
• Refunds: On a full refund, Tutora's commission is refunded together with the lesson price.
